BREAKING NEWS: I am currently really enjoying school. I like my classes, and I'm pretty sure the feeling will remain throughout the semester.
History 105: Nice prof, despite the fact that it's an 8 a.m. with mandatory attendance...I am excited. I love American History though, so I guess that makes sense. He gave up a job in the oil business because he believes in the importance of teaching history.
Islam and Politics: Aside from this one realllllly annoying girl who is also in Middle Eastern Politics with me.....it's going to be interesting. No tests either, just a paper and an oral presentation. And the subject matter is relevant and interesting.
Criminology: I will disagree with most of what she says in this course, but her approach is excellent. She has it set up as a critical thinking course....what motivates crime, reactions to it, etc. Thought-provoking. Annnd we get to watch Bowling for Columbine....hahaha. If it's anything like Fahrenheit 9/11...gosh I'm in for a real treat. haha.
Middle Eastern Politics: Ditto Islam and Politics....take home exam and term paper. I can handle that.

So, for your entertainment, I would like to share some of the corniest lines that I have ever heard....collected over the weekend.
Ghetto Black Dude: My compliments on your perfume....whatchu wearing?
Me (in head): Sweat and cigarette smoke....mmmm.
Me (out loud, cause I am too polite for my own good, but adding a bit of snottiness to my tone): Armani.
Ghetto Black Dude: I'm just gonna give you a black bear hug and you do your thing.
Me: (dead silence)
Ghetto Black Dude: I'm just gonna lay some black sugar on you.
Me: No thank you.
Wanna-Be Ghetto White Dude: Lil Mama, you got some moves! You the first white gurl I seen that can move like that?
Me: Hahahahahahaha!!!
W-B GWD: Can I have the next dance Miss Julie?
Me: Actually I already promised I'd dance with my boyfriend. *elbow Cody* (side whisper) Cody, save me.
Why do people feel the need to talk when dancing, really? Just shut up. It's too loud to talk anyways.
In case you couldn't tell, I loooove dancing...but boys are really bugging me right now. This poor guy next to me in class kept trying to talk to me, and I was kinda apathetic. I have decided I need to work on being nice enough to talk to people...the Lord may give me some openings!
Anyways, love you all, pray for me...I'm considering going on a mission trip to the Middle East this summer....I don't really want to go, but I feel like God is laying it on my heart to apply, and I want to be in His will....
