I have a sad story today. It's about a poor broke college student working at HEB, and an evil mean motorcycle cop (yeah, I'm real subtle, I know).
Yeah, forget the story format. Basically, I got a speeding ticket...for going 34. Just my luck. On my way to work, 8:36 in the morning...my first speeding ticket ever...it would have to be a school zone...which I did NOT know. Yep, that's classic. Speeding ticket for going 34. The regular speed limit was 40. That cop was not very cool. At all. Merry Christmas to you too, jerkface.
The cost of speeding in a school zone? Lucky it was only 14 miles over....cause that's the lowest cost, and it's $300 FREAKIN DOLLARS!
Cop: You work at HEB?
Me (in me head): Yes, and I don't know how much money you think I make, but it ain't enough to pay that ticket without starving for like two months!
So all that to say, guess who's going to sell her blood plasma? Annnd since I had my wreck in January and got a ticket for failure to yield...I can't take defensive driving. Sooo I get to be on probation for three months, which will make my ticket onle $138. Ohhh goody. You can just call me Sunday Driver or Grandma for the next three months.
Today sucked. Well, that part did. The rest of it was fine. I went to the library tonight, for the first time in a long time. It actually felt good to sit thre with my headphones and textbook, typing away on my laptop....annd now I need to get back to work on my Public Administration report....guess which organization it's on? Yep, that's right, hell itself (not really, I kinda like it now).
