Just the thoughts from the mind of a saint with identity troubles....

Yeah. So I'm sick. It was bound to happen right before finals....and I think something about being sick makes everything else seem like a bigger deal than it is.....

Anyways, if y'all could just pray for me..I'm under a whole lotta stress with work cutting my hours, not being able to pay for apartment, and other stuff....yeah.

Thanks and gig em, more to come later after I sleep this sickness off.

I burn....

So, this weekend was...interesting.

Romeo and Juliet was really good, it made me miss acting/Shakespeare/directing a lot...and my brothers were brilliant in it of course. :)

I saw some people I haven't seen in a long time....it's funny how with some people it's like no time has passed at all...and others....things are just soooo different. *insert nostalgic sigh*

Anyways, in many ways, this weekend sucked. I drove back to College Station burning with resentment, anger, and just an overall pissed-off attitude.

It takes a lot for me to get to a point where I really dislike someone. For the most part, I'm pretty forgiving, and I don't get my feelings hurt that easily. But mess with someone I care about.....watch out. Especially my mom, who is one of the most giving, sincere, earnest people that I know. People are treating her like shit lately, and she's really under a lot of spiritual attack for something which she spends almost all of her time doing for the Lord and for the people around her. I seriously do not think I have been this angry in years...not even kidding. I would just look at certain people and want to spit....seriously, it's not good. I'm not sure how to handle it...cause to some extent I feel like my mom doesn't stand up for herself enough....and if I were to follow my gut instinct, I would tell these ungrateful people to get over their fucking childishness and realize that there is an entire world out there with bigger problems than the load of shit that they try to fill my Mom's life with. Get over your self and worry about bigger things, like a lost and dying world that needs the light of Christ.

The problems that arise when Christians isolate themselves....and when they are consumed with legalism as opposed to the Holy Spirit. Yep, I know I just used the f word. Yep, I know that hate is a sinful attitude. This is honestly where I am at right now though....I realize that I need to pray about my own attitude, but I also am praying about how I can help my family deal with this shit.

Because being home for two days was enough to make me remember how much I really don't miss a lot of the stuff I put up with in high school....I try not to bad-mouth the homeschool community around the outside world, because they already have a pretty misguided conception of what homeschooling is about anyway, and once again, I am so grateful to my parents for homeschooling me...but then, we were pretty much the rebels of the homeschool group, so my experience was probably pretty different than many homeschoolers.

I am just fed up with Christians tearing other Christians down, and worrying more about whether someone else is doing something the way they would do it, when there is a whole lost world out there that needs the gospel. I am sick of people complaining about things when they are not doing anything to help with the problem.

The first thing I heard when I walked in Bracken Friday night? A whispered comment behind my back. "Ohh...I see board member kids are allowed to wear sleveless shirts."
WTF??? Uhm, I don't know if you realized this, but I AM NOT AT SAC DAY. I AM IN COLLEGE, AND MY PARENTS SHOULD NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT I DO.

And then....Sunday night was out East Asia team meeting...annnnnd guess what a recurring theme was? Hate and anger. I need to get this off my chest, and not let it get to me.

Two Step...Two Step....Get Jiggy Wit It.

Accident Report: 4/14/07. Approximately 2 a.m.

The victim a 19 year old, white female, 5'5". At approximately 2 a.m., neighbors of G-Unit headquarters reported hearing loud rap music and stomping from inside the building, and some eyewitnesses reported seeing 3 females (1 hispanic and 2 extremely white) dancing the ghetto/DJ Unk two-step on the porch.

"It was really horrifying." Reported Random Shirtless Guy, who witnessed the entire dance routine. "I mean, you just looked at these girls and knew someone was bound to get hurt."

"We had asked them to stop after we heard stomping. Obviously, they just wouldn't quit." reported Annoying Downstairs Bia.

Sure enought, shortly after 2 a.m., the victim reportedly went into an animated kick, colliding with her colleague, who kicked out at the same time, slamming the victim's left big toe into the side of the other female's white foot. A loud snap echoed through the night, and the victim's toe was broken.

Despite the injury, the very next evening found the victim and the other perpetrator of the violent event "walking it out".

"I realize that my toe is twice the size of my other one, and more purple than Julius Caesar's toga, but that will never stand in the way of my duty to drop it like it's hott." The victim reportedly said. The two white females were spotted at the club the very next weekend. The taller of the two even had the audacity to ghetto two-step in front of everyone, while the victim started a fight with an African American female.

"We're fed up with the reverse discrimination toward white girls at The Library. Just cause we break toes when we try to dance doesn't mean we don't deserve to be out on the floor, stealin all the lovin from the ghetto men."

People of College Station, beware.

Yeah, so my weekend was interesting. And my foot hurts. lol

There is a time to study, and a time to sleep....

Hey everyone!

Well, I am back at home in good old Bulverde for Easter weekend.

Nothing to exciting to post, except for a new humiliation suffered in the name of HEB....yes, on Saturday, they were grilling to raise money for The March of Dimes, and also to promote the meal deal of the week. Soooo, they made us wear these hideous red aprons emblazoned with "Ask me about our brisket meal deal". No one did ask me, probably cause I had a look on my face that cautioned against it.
Anyways, it was soooo horrible. And I swear everyone I work with was like "Ooooh, that looks so cute/hot on you. It shows off your figure."

Uhm, ok....how bout NO. I don't get payed $7.50 an hour to fulfill some freaky June Cleaver fantasy of my male co-workers. haha Ohhhh how I love HEB. lol

Anyways....in other news.....
STRESS. Yep, finals time is fast approaching. I am ready for school to be done and summer to get here.

On a happier (I guess?) note, I am studying Ecclesiastes. Yep, it's not one of those books that gets studied that often, but I found two commentaries to help me out. It was kind of on impulse that I chose that book, I was flipping through the word looking for something, and just decided to do that...and you know what? It's flippin awesome. Yep. So, look for insights from that book to be on here soon.

That and a long paragraph on how the Apostle Paul cursed. Yep. Get excited. Now I am off to get dressed and do something unproductive....yep.
